1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using BroStreak ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use our service.
2. Description of Service
BroStreak is a habit-tracking mobile application focused on accountability. It allows users to track daily gym goals, maintain streaks, and share progress with an accountability partner. The App may integrate with health platforms such as Apple Health and Health Connect to verify workout activity.
3. User Accounts
- Registration: You must register an account (via Google, Apple, or Email) to use the App.
- Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account.
- Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. User Conduct & Content
You are solely responsible for the content (notes, text) you upload. You agree NOT to:
- Upload illegal, offensive, explicit, or harassing content
- Harass, abuse, or harm your accountability partner or other users
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Falsify workout data or manipulate streak tracking
- Attempt to reverse engineer the App or interfere with its operation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Accountability Features
The App involves sharing data with another user (your "Partner"). By pairing with a partner, you consent to sharing your:
- Name and Avatar
- Streak progress and check-in history
- Weekly goals and completion status
- Check-in notes (if you choose to add them)
Both partners must meet their weekly goals for the streak to continue. If one partner fails to meet their goal, both partners' streak resets.
6. Health Data
The App may access health and fitness data from your device with your permission (Hardcore Mode). This data is used solely to verify workout activity and maintain streak accuracy. We do not sell your health data to third parties. Health data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features of the App may require a paid subscription (Premium). Subscription terms:
- Pricing and billing cycles will be clearly disclosed before purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You can manage subscriptions through the App or your device settings
- Refunds are handled according to the policies of the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
8. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BroStreak and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of streak data due to technical issues.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BroStreak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.
